My journey in three chapters.

Chapter 1 · 2007
The consultant.
I started as a personal branding and image consultant with a master’s degree in communication and leadership and a love for business. For my master’s, I published research on how people establish credibility online, applying impression management theory to the personal websites and social platforms that were just beginning to shape careers.
I was an early adopter of that online world. As professionals began turning to the internet to promote themselves, I was at the forefront of helping them build their first impression there: body language, communication, and personal style put to work to land the interview, convert the sale, and hold a room.

Chapter 2 · 2014
The educator.
As the work grew, I partnered with Sylvie di Giusto, then a corporate image consultant in New York City and my biggest competitor, now a world renowned speaker. Together we launched The Studio for Image Professionals, a training hub offering education, resources, and support to image consultants in more than 25 countries. We became the leading online educator in the space.
I also partnered with the nonprofit Center for Women in South Carolina to redevelop their Women’s Business Center from the ground up. I reinvented the programming and curriculum, and along the way coached hundreds of local female business owners as they started, scaled, and grew their companies. The SBA recognized the programming nationally, and the work fostered my deep love for coaching women in business.
All the while I kept creating my own online programs on personal branding, growing my following, and meeting the mentors who would sharpen my skills for what came next.

Chapter 3 · 2020
The hypnotherapist and the seer.
Wanting deeper, more lasting results for my clients, I got licensed in clinical hypnotherapy and spent two years mentored by Rebecca Taylor Shaw, founder of the American Hypnosis & Coaching Academy and a thirty year veteran in the field of the subconscious. Around the same time, I stopped sidelining the intuitive gifts I’ve carried since childhood and brought them into the work. That combination became my remote readings, which clients have called life-changing, mind-blowing, and disruptive in all the right ways.
In 2020 I developed a tool I started using in session with clients, one I now call the PARA Technique®: a four-step process clients can use in their day to day to break emotional and behavioral patterns and take action from a more grounded, aligned space. It was vetted by clinical psychologist and data scientist Kirstin Aschbacher, who called it a self-leadership tool, and I’ve since certified a small group of professional coaches and therapists across North America who now use it in their own practices.
The study continues. I spent three years in depth psychology under my mentor Paul Cuneo, and in 2025 I worked privately with Dr. Gail Van Kanegan to become Reiki attuned at Levels I and II.
In 2024 I built Resonance House, where my love for technology meets the work: a library of fifteen-minute hypnotherapy, guided imagery, and somatic experiencing audio journeys. It began as a place for my clients to hone and tune their energy between our sessions, a home for energetic hygiene, and it’s now a membership platform where women stream the journeys anytime they need them.
